Nearly two years in the making, MIKEL, Inc. today cut the ribbon on its manufacturing facility located in the Fall River Industrial Park.
MIKEL has 25 employees and moved into its facility just prior to the pandemic. It has been in business for over 20 years providing submarine undersea location technology for the U.S. Navy.
The ribbon-cutting falls on National Submarine Day. Retired Vice Admiral John Donnelly says the Navy’s fleet of submarines is the best in the world due, in part, to the technological innovations a company like MIKEL develops.
Ms. Mendell says the decision to expand into Fall River was an easy one.
