Dozens of veterans and local residents gathered at Bicentennial Park in Fall River Tuesday afternoon for the groundbreaking of the construction of the permanent replica Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall. Efforts to construct the wall began in 2017 when a number of local Vietnam Veterans, led by local businessman Joseph Marshall, approached the city about hosting the monument at Bicentennial Park.
