One of the concerns facing parents under the hybrid learning model facing students in Fall River is supporting their children during the weeks they are not in school while also balancing the need to work. People, Incorporated is looking to help by the creation of a virtual learning pod.

A learning pod is a physical location, outside of school, where parents can drop off their children to be helped with their remote studies. Peter Daley, Director of Public Relations at People Incorporated, says their learning pod began operation this week and is being staffed by trained personnel.

Mr. Daley says the program has room for growth based on the demand.

The learning pod at People, Incorporated is free and available for families with children in first through fifth grades. For more information, please call 508-673-3845. Similar learning pods are available from the Boy’s and Girl’s Club and the YMCA of Fall River.
