Fall River City Councilors will discuss the mayor’s request that a Director of Tourism & Cultural Affairs be hired to oversee marketing plans for the city. The Subcommittee on Ordinances & Legislation will meet in regular session Tuesday, June 26th, 2018 to discuss questions and concerns that still remain in regards to the post including hiring requirements, job duties, how to monitor progress, and how this position will fit in with Fall River’s overall economic development plans.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 5:15 pm at the city council chambers at one Government Center. There will be citizen input time, and of course, all residents are welcome to attend.
