Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker visited Fall River this week to announce the state is awarding a $450 thousand dollar grant to help fund the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall to be constructed at Heritage State Park. During the press conference at Government Center, the governor explained the importance of honoring Vietnam Vets:
The project also received an additional $150,000 appropriation from the state legislature, making the total state commitment $600,000.
