The Parks Department Division in the city continues to maintain the grounds at approximately 25 parks throughout the city. When good weather strikes, workers are out iin full force , mowing lawns and clearing brush. After last week’s storm, the maintenance workers were out making certain playgrounds and parks were litter free, and clean for children and their families to enjoy.
Nancy Smith is manager of the department. She says workers will continue to maintain the park under community development grant monies right into the fall.
