Here are the latest events taking place at the Fall River Public Library:

Tuesday, March 19: Book Talk: Memoirs of a Visionary, 6 pm. Fall River author Manuel Soares will talk about his book Memoirs of a Visionary, which will be for sale at the event. Sponsored by the Friends of the Fall River Public Library.

Wednesday, March 20: Play & Learn, 10 am. Preschool group. Books & Tea Club, 2 pm. Book club, open to all genres and interests.

Thursday, March 21: Yarn Crafting for a Cause, 1 pm. All knitters and crocheters welcome! Help us knit warm garments to be donated to the homeless. Beam Games, 4 pm. Interactive games for kids. All are welcome! Fantasy & Science Fiction Book Club, 6 pm. This month’s book: The Adventures of Amina Al-Sarafi by Shannon Chakraborty.

Saturday, March 23: Chess Club, 12:30 pm. Meet up for a game in the Fell Reading Room. The History and Mystery of Nancy Drew, 1:30 pm. Following the Friends of the Fall River Public Library annual meeting, learn all about the Nancy Drew mystery series and how it evolved, fun facts about Nancy Drew, and see examples of different editions over the years.
