We have a clearer picture as to how this year’s Fall River Election ballot may look now that the deadline has passed for candidates to return nomination papers for mayor, city council or school committee.

It looks like there will definitely be a preliminary election for mayor as three candidates have returned nomination papers. Here are the candidates.

MAYOR

19 candidates returned papers for the city council. If one candidate either did not collect the required signatures or does not file their nomination papers, a preliminary election will not be held. Councilor Leo Pelletier has decided not to seek re-election. Here are those who returned nomination papers.
