Viva Fall River and New Bedford Food Tours are launching their second SouthSoast Snackdown across the region.
This year’s bakery item is well-known to many…sweet bread.
Chris Holden, owner of Duke’s Bakery on Davol Street, says her gluten and dairy-free sweet bread is a welcomed competitor in this year’s contest.
Ms. Rego says as with last year’s snackdown, residents will be asked to vote for their favorite sweet bread. Voting runs through the end of February.
