The annual Fall River Grand Prix Speed Boat races will be held this Sunday at Fall River’s waterfront. Area residents are urged to watch the races on the lawn of Heritage State Park, and are asked to bring lawn chairs or blankets. There is no fee for admission to the park, but food vendors will be set up if folks would like to purchase what they have to offer.
The first race begins at 1:00 p.m. and will continue throughout the afternoon. FRC Media news caught up with State Representative Alan Silvia who turned out at the mayoral news conference to announce the event earlier this week:
