Memories of the power boat races in the Taunton River remain in the minds of those who turned out to experience the event.
Fall River resident, Attorney Patrick McDonald, had the pleasure of watching the races up close on Saturday. He took the shots depicted here from his home on the city’s waterfront, and shared them with frcconnect.org.
“The bay came alive. It truly did. Boaters and jet skiers were partying, and playing along the shores of Fall River. The shore lines were packed with people. All without having to see a politician standing in the middle of it for a nugget of credit. Refreshing,” McDonald says.
The power boats are part of the Offshore Powerboat Association races. Click here to learn more about the OPA
