The Fall River Ward Eight Democratic Committee sponsored an event on Monday evening hosting candidates running in the September 4th State Primary. Among those seeking the support of city Democrats was gubernatorial candidate Jay Gonzalez.
Gonzalez is one of two Democrats looking to unseat incumbent Republican Governor Charlie Baker in the November State Election. The other Democratic candidate on the ballot next month is Robert Massie.
