What does the United Way mean to you? On Wednesday, August 22, teams from throughout Fall River will answer that question – with chalk drawings.

“Chalk the Block,” the kick-off for the United Way of Greater Fall River’s annual campaign, will take place at 4:00 p.m. in the solar parking lot at Bristol Community College’s Fall River campus at 777 Elsbree Street.  Teams will be assigned a parking space, supplied with chalk, and asked to put their artistic skills to work.  Prizes will be awarded for the most creative and innovative drawings.

Teams can compete on behalf of organizations they represent or as groups of individuals. There is a $10 registration fee per team.

To sign up, call 508-678-8361 or email pmuccitelli@uwgfr.org by August 14.
