To learn more about what the Charter Review question is all about in Fall River, a question & answer discussion will take place in early September.
President of the Charter Review Commission Kris Bartley says, the informational panel discussion is designed to allow registered voters to learn more about the Fall River Charter Review process.
“I’m extremely excited that we are able to provide the public with accurate information on the charter review process through this forum” Mr. Bartley says. The public needs to be involved from start to finish. This will empower the public, allowing them to make an informed decision when voting in November.
The decision on whether to study and possibly change the current City Charter which, according to commission members is antiquated, will come before the voters in the November 4th election.
The Question & Answer style forum will take place in the City Hall Atrium at One Government Center on Wednesday, September 9th at 6:00 pm. The forum is scheduled to last two hours.
