The body of a 27 year old woman found this past weekend behind the former Sam’s Club building near the Quequechan River has been identified as Elizabeth Simon. According to a police news release, the victim’s family had reported Simon missing last October. Bristol County District Attorney Spokesperson Greg Miliote reported that the cause of Simon’s death is still under investigation, adding there were no signs of trauma or evidence of foul play. As a result, her death is not considered suspicious.

Simon was wearing light clothing at the time her body was found, so authorities believe she appeared to have died sometime last summer or fall. She was considered homeless and known to social service agency workers in the Greater Fall River area. She was last seen alive at the end of September 2017.
