Since 1988, December 1 has been designated as World Aids Day, and as the day approaches community organizations in Fall River will gather at City Hall to join in the quest to spread AIDS awareness.
At 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 29, a flag will be raised on Gromada Plaza. Following the ceremony, a reception will be held at City Hall with a keynote speaker, a light lunch, and networking and resource opportunities, starting at 12:15 p.m.
