A “Women Do Cook 2” fundraiser will be held from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. on June 9 at The Liberal Club in Fall River to benefit the city’s Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall project.
Hosted by the Good Government League, the event will allow guests to sample dishes made by over 35 female chefs and vote for their top three favorites. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased by contacting Clara Fallon at 774-644-5733 or clarafallon@gmail.com.
The memorial wall, to be constructed at Veterans Memorial Bicentennial Park at 1082 Davol Street, will be an 80% scale size replica of the original Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington, D.C.
