The Fall River Bicycle Committee will lead a bike ride along the Alfred J. Lima Quequechan River Rail Trail on Saturday, September 8.
According to a post on the committee’s Facebook page, “This ride is for people who are comfortable and experienced riding with traffic since most of the ride will be on-road. Approximately 27 miles total. Possible stop on the way back for a coffee and pastry.”
Participants will meet at 8:00 a.m. at the Britland Park parking lot in Fall River. The ride will start promptly at 8:20 a.m. and will follow the trail to Route 6, down Sanford Road to Main Road in Westport.
Bikers are asked to bring a drink and wear helmets. In the event of rain, the ride will be canceled.
