Bristol Community College will host a Water Treatment Careers Awareness Night on Wednesday, July 17, 2019, from 6 -8 p.m., in room L101, Mathematics & Science Building (L Building), on the Bristol Fall River Campus. This event is free and all are invited to attend.
At the engaging event, Robert Rak, Bristol’s Environmental Science and Technology Coordinator, will discuss the current demand for drinking water and wastewater treatment plant operators, both regionally and throughout the United States.
Presentations at the event will include information about industry organizations who are hiring, training requirements and earning state certifications. The event will also discuss training programs offered at Bristol Community College, as well as how to get registered.
Guests at the event can meet with employers and former students from the program who are currently employed in the field. This event is sponsored by the Bristol Community College Blue Center for Water Technologies and New England Water Treatment Training (NEWTT).
