Most igloos eventually melt away, but Fall River Public Library is going to make one in its Children’s Room that will last indefinitely.
The library is planning to build an igloo out of two hundred one-gallon plastic water jugs, starting in mid-January. The structure will be close to life-size.
Jugs are now being collected for the “cool” project. Patrons are asked to bring their empty water jugs (no milk or juice containers) to the library, located at 104 North Main Street, by January 18.
