Spring and summer will see the Fall River Water Department undertaking a series of seasonal upgrades.
Paul Ferland, Director of Community Utilities, says the city will continue to move ahead on replacing lead service lines to the home. Residents in focus areas will hear from the city soon with the service completed free of charge.
Water main replacement projects are also on the docket, specifically when it comes to repaving streets where replacement work is complete.
The water department is also conducting engineering studies on locations across the city that are susceptible to flooding during heavy rainstorms. One of those next on the list that has long been a problem is Stafford Square.
