Fall River Mayor Jasiel Correia II is asking for an Evergreen tree donation to serve as the city’s holiday tree at Government Center this season.
If so, please call the mayor’s office at (508) 324-2600 no later than November 5th.
Here are the specifications:
- Minimum Height – Between 25 and 40 Feet
- Adequate room for tree to fall safely
- Ease of transporting the tree to City Hall
- Ease of access for tree cutting
- Superior shape
Screening and selection of trees will take place the week of November 6th. Cutting and installation of the tree will be scheduled soon after the tree has been selected.
