Over the past few years, volunteers have removed thousands of pounds of debris from the Alfred J. Lima Quequechan River Rail Trail to prepare the area for spring. Now the Friends of the Rail Trail are looking for help with their 4th Annual Earth Day Cleanup on Saturday, April 20.
Volunteers are needed to work from 9:00 a.m. to noon on the trail and along the river. They are asked to meet at 9:00 at Britland Park and to come dressed for heavy work (no sandals or flip-flops) and bring garden tools.
