A Wish Come True, Inc. is looking for volunteers of all ages to help stuff envelopes for its annual Wish Dance fundraiser.
Founded in 1982, A Wish Come True works to grant the “fondest wish” of Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts children age 3 through 18 with life threatening illnesses.
“The idea is to make their lives a little brighter and give them something to look forward to, and not have to think about their illness all the time,” says the organization.
Volunteers will meet from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday, February 4, at the Boys and Girls Club at 803 Bedford St. in Fall River. Pizza and soda will be provided. For more information, call 401-781-9199, or email Kathy@awishcometrue.org.
