A youth rowing crew from the Watuppa Rowing Center in Fall River had an experience of a lifetime competing last week in one of the world’s largest regattas, The Head of the Charles in Boston.
The women’s youth team of four rowers and a coxswain is the center’s first-ever entry in the world-famous regatta. Team coach Sarah Fiske says the team of four 15-year-olds and one 16-year-old represented themselves and the rowing center well.
Team members found The Head of the Charles experience rewarding.
