Members of the state legislature’s Joint Committee on Tourism, Arts and Cultural Development were in Fall River last week to get a firsthand look at the city’s tourism and arts scene.
Committee co-chair and Fall river state representative Carole Fiola says road trips for members show off the diversity of arts and culture across the Commonwealth.
Among the stops during the committee’s tour of the city was the Narrows Center for the Arts, the city’s replica Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall and the Quequechan River Rail Trail. Representative Fiola says the state continues to make huge investments in arts and tourism projects.
