Fall River’s season of community activities takes off later this week with three city events.
Beginning next Friday and Saturday city-based arts studios will open their doors where local artists and makers can showcase their work.
The studios will be open Friday from 4 pm to 8 pm and again on Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm.
Beginning next Thursday through Saturday, the third edition of the Fabric Fall River Festival will take place at a number of locations across the city. Patti rego, director of viva fall river, says this year’s Portuguese cultural celebration will offer a variety of experiences.

And finally, next Sunday, May 15th viva fall river celebrates the return of the We Heart Fall River festival downtown.
