(VIDEO) SRTA Seeking Input on Future Status of Bus Stops

The Southeastern Regional Transit Authority (SRTA) is looking to improve the experience of riders at bus stops across the city.

SRTA held a listening session at the Fall River bus terminal Tuesday asking patrons their opinions on the number and appearance of bus stops to optimize the efficiency of the transit system.

Trimbell is hopeful that once the authority makes changes to the number of stops, riders will experience shorter wait times while reaching their desired destination sooner.

Riders still have the opportunity to weigh in on plans to alter local bus stops. SRTA will soon make an online survey available to riders. You’ll be able to find that at srtabus.com.

SRTA also announced the introduction of its SRTA Bustracker app. Available on the Apple and Google app stores, the app is another tool for passengers to better plan their trips.

It would be nice if you could put in covered things on with the bus stops are so that way we don’t get wet and inclement it weather.
