Schools are still trying to play catch-up from the learning loss of students who were forced to take instructions remotely during the pandemic,
Fall River Interim School Superintendent Maria Pontes tells us even though students have been back in person since September, the learning gaps remain.
Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School is also doing what it can to help students succeed through the pandemic. Assistant Superintendent/Principal Andrew Rebello says the school has seen a strong commitment from staff to meet the needs of students.
The school is also creating special programs to identify students who are struggling.
Through it all, Diman remains committed to keeping all parents informed.
