Hollywood actor and musician Tyler Bowe may no longer live in Fall River, but his heart is still at home. He is donating his talents to raise funds for the food ministry at the First Baptist Church and the Fall River Arts and Culture Coalition (FRACC).
Bowe says the benefit performance, to be held Saturday, August 20 at the Narrows Center for the Arts, will bring attention to solving the city’s homeless problem and supporting the growth of Fall River’s creative community.
Jeff Wells, food ministry coordinator at First Baptist Church, says the money raised will help support the food pantry that has been serving meals for over 40 years.
FRACC executive director Ashley Occhino says any support is welcome in promoting the Fall River arts and culture scene.
Bowe says he’s inviting a number of local musical friends to take part in the event, one he says will be unique and well worth the price of admission.
Tickets are available through the Narrows Center for the Arts. Tickets will be available at the door.
