A public meeting will be held next week to discuss extending the Alfred J. Lima Quequechan River Rail Trail.
Sara Labossiere of Mass in Motion Fall River says input will be sought to extend the trail behind LePage’s Seafood to the Westport line and create an extension from Brayton Avenue along the South Watuppa Pond to the Atlantis Charter School.
Labossiere says residents who frequent the trail often have ideas on how it can better serve the community.
The public meeting will be Tuesday from 5pm to 7pm in the atrium at Government Center.
