Nearly a year after it opened its doors to students, the new B.M.C. Durfee High School was dedicated at a ceremony held today in the school’s Nagle Auditorium.
Fall River Mayor Paul Coogan says the state-of-the-art facility was a long time coming, made possible with widespread community support.
The keynote speech at the dedication ceremony was delivered by Massachusetts Congressman Edward Markey. He says the new school will provide city children with a gateway to a bright tomorrow.
