One of the contested county races on the ballot in November is for the Register of Probate and Family Court. Interim register democrat Thomas Hoye is a former mayor of Taunton and has been on the job for less than a year after being appointed by Governor Baker to fill a vacant position.
Mr. Hoye says his biggest achievement to date has been the launch of remote services…Increasingly important during these times of dealing with COVID-19.
Going forward Mr. Hoye feels it’s important to break down the barriers of justice for all facing important family business with is office.
Mr. Hoye is being challenged by independent candidate Melanie Patenaude Layden.
