Republican Nancy Stanton-Cross is one of three candidates running for two positions as Bristol County Commissioner.
The Fall River native is a local attorney who also currently serves on the Westport school committee. One of her priorities is to bring diversity and 21st-century thinking to the commission.
Ms. Stanton-Cross’ says the commission needs to take a proactive attitude in the upkeep, renovation, and construction of county buildings. Her experience in education excites her in expanding upon the potential of growing the Bristol County Agricultural School.
Ms. Stanton-Cross will face incumbent Democrats John Mitchell and Paul Kitchen on November 3rd.
