Three candidates are vying for two spots as Bristol County Commissioners. Among them is current commissioner and former Fall River Mayor John Mitchell.
Mr. Mitchell says along with overseeing the upkeep of county buildings, the commissioners also serve on the board of the Bristol County Agricultural School, which is undergoing renovations with an eye toward growth.
Mr. Mitchell says the commission has been consistent as to how it handles county resources.
Mr. Mitchell has served as a commissioner since 2011. Also on the ballot are incumbent Democrat Paul Kitchen and Republican challenger Nancy Stanton-Cross.
