Democratic Congressman Bill Keating is seeking re-election to a sixth term representing Massachusetts’ 9th District.
Part of Congressman Keating’s district includes the south end of Fall River. He points to his experience as a reason he should be re-elected. He says the president and other Republicans have pushed forth the appointment of Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court for the purpose of overturning the Affordable Care Act.
Congressman Keating says President Trump has been irresponsible in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic. He says another round of stimulus is needed to revive the local economy, especially building upon the industries that utilize our local environmental resources.
Included on Congressman Keating’s political resume is a stint as a district attorney. When it comes to Black Lives Matter and police reform, he says seeking common ground will be what will benefit all.
