The end of the COVID pandemic is impacting those who are covered by MassHealth.
During COVID, MassHealth was expended for some individuals with the need for annual recertification or renewal waived. That recertification process has returned.
HealthFirst Family Care Center in Fall River is helping the hundreds of individuals in greater Fall River navigate the renewal process.
Not all MassHealth recipients will need to recertify at once.
Once recipients receive their recertification notice, there is a strict timeline to follow to ensure benefits are maintained.
Residents who receive public benefits will likely not receive a recertification notice and will be renewed automatically.
