It’s long been a tradition for Greater Fall River RE-CREATION to sponsor the Greater Fall River Fitness Challenge. That tradition will be kept alive this year even in the face of challenges caused by the pandemic.
Since its inception, dozens of people have taken advantage of the annual effort to keep Fall River active and healthy. Annemarie Holly of Greater Fall River RE-CREATION says that goal will continue this year, albeit through non-traditional means.
This year’s challenge will begin Wednesday, February 10 with virtual classes being held each Wednesday and Saturday through April 17.
Tabitha Gendreau of Tabi’s Transformations is organizing the schedule of online workouts with the goal of helping people of all skill levels.
Ms. Holly says those who participate in the challenge understand that keeping active leads to healthier habits.
More information on this year’s challenge can be found on the Greater Fall River Fitness Challenge Facebook page.
