A longtime Fall River holiday tradition returns to normal this Saturday at the 37th Annual Fall River Children’s Holiday Parade.
Following last year’s citywide Santa’s Joyride caused by the pandemic, this year’s parade returns to its largest-in-the-region, pre-pandemic format with march-off beginning at 1 pm from Kennedy Park proceeding down South Main Street.
Once the parade ends the festivities will continue downtown leading up to the official Government Center tree lighting ceremony later in the afternoon.
The holiday festivities sponsored by CD-RECREATION will continue Sunday from 12 pm to 3 pm at the organization’s headquarters on 45 Rock Street. That event is free and open to all.
