The City of Fall River is co-sponsoring a number of summer community events on the waterfront that begin next month.
The city is working with Viva Fall River and other community partners on organizing the series of events. Beginning on July 10th at 6:30 pm, and running every Monday through August, a free yoga class will be held on the Senator Thomas Norton City Pier.
Also at the city pier, every other Thursday evening beginning July 13, the Narrows Center for the Arts and Greater Fall River RE-CREATION will support a wide range of family activities and music as part of the Picnic Performances at the Pier series.
Viva Fall River’s Artisan and Farmers Market will be combined with other activities and moved to the Gates of the City on the third Friday of July, August and September. The first market takes place Friday, July 21.
