The state announced the next phase of COVID-19 vaccinations will begin on Monday, February first. Those 75 or older can now make an appointment to receive the vaccine.
Mayor Paul Coogan says the City of Fall River is working as an organizer to communicate with residents on how to get vaccinated while working on securing additional vaccination sites.
The mayor says the city is also working on helping seniors and others set-up vaccination appointments.
Currently, there are two locations in Fall River distributing the vaccine, CVS on President Avenue and Walgreens on Plymouth Avenue. Bristol Community College will also serve as a future vaccination site.
We have set up a special webpage with up-to-date local information on the status of vaccinations, including a list of locations in Fall River to receive the vaccine.
