Mayor Coogan this week put forth for city council consideration Michael Marciello as Fall River’s next City Administrator.
But shortly before the vote on his appointment at Tuesday night’s city council meeting, Mr. Marciello’s nomination was pulled back. The mayor says councilors had questions concerning
Mr. Marciello’s departure from his previous position as town administrator for the Town of Millbury.
Mr. Marciello signed a separation agreement with the Town of Millbury in August of 2019 after serving as town administrator for over two years. Details of the separation were not publically disclosed. The mayor says he will resume the search for a city administrator.
