The One SouthCoast Chamber is again asking shoppers to keep their gift dollars local this holiday season.
Co-CEO Michael O’Sullivan says local retailers are dedicated to being both respectful and competitive for the holidays.
Mr. O’Sullivan says there is a misconception that shopping at small, local stores will cost shoppers more money. Co-CEO Rick Kidder says shopping local will keep more money within the local economy.
Mr. Kidder also says that shopping local allows for the discovery of unique items that are only found in the SouthCoast.
Even though most local shopping is done in person, many stores also have a presence online.
