Citizens for Citizens, Inc.’s (CFC) Operation Christmas is once again prepared to provide gifts for upwards of 4,000 Fall River area needy children this holiday season.
Program coordinator Chrystal Arpa says the effects of the pandemic and inflation continue to impact local residents trying to make ends meet.
Families looking to benefit from the toy drive have until December 9th to apply for support. An application is available on the Operation Christmas web page.
Citizens for Citizens is also continuing to look for anyone in the community to donate to Operation Christmas.
Gifts will be distributed to families on Saturday, December 17 at CFC’s location on 822 Eastern Avenue.
Ms. Arpa says she and the volunteers of Operation Christmas work hard but remain focused on making sure everyone can experience a joyous holiday season.
