Citizens for Citizens, Inc. (CFC) opened its new food pantry last month at 822 Eastern Avenue. The new location provides the organization with more space and the opportunity to offer a wider variety of food to needy residents.
Program coordinator Crystal Arpa says the expanded pantry space allows for CFC to provide nutritious options to clients.
The CFC food pantry is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30 am to 12 pm and the first Thursday of each month from 5 pm to 7 pm. Ms. Arpa says CFC is also using its new space to help other organizations in need.
