Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker last month appointed Southcoast Health Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer Renee Clark and local attorney Pamela Gauvin to serve on the Bristol Community College Board of Trustees.
Ms. Clark began her higher education at Massachusetts Bay Community College before earning her Bachelor’s Degree at Framingham State University and her Master’s Degree from Simmons College. She hopes to use her experiences as a community college student to promote the benefits of attending Bristol.
Attorney Gauvin has roots in the New Bedford area but earned her degrees in New Hampshire. She sees her strength as being an advocate for promoting students to local emerging economic development opportunities.
“We are looking forward to the contributions that our new appointees will bring to the Board of Trustees,” said Joan Medeiros, Chair, Bristol Community College Board of Trustees. “Both Renee Clark, as a leader of the largest health system in the region, and Pamela Gauvin, as an established member of our community, will bring valuable insight to the Board. Bristol Community College’s Board of Trustees works tirelessly to ensure the college’s institutional activities remain at the highest level of quality, and Bristol’s success is attributed to their dedication and the dedication of our exemplary employees.”
