FRCMedia is preparing parents for the new school year by looking at what’s new in our local schools. Today we spotlight Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School, where classes will begin Wednesday, August 31.
Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School is set to welcome back its returning students and 375 members of the freshman class next Wednesday, August 31. Assistant Superintendent/Principal Andrew Rebello says the school will build upon recent successes of in-person classes to prepare all students to be life-ready.
Mr. Rebello says teachers and administrators have risen to the task to ensure academic and vocational learning loss has been kept to a minimum. New support services will be made available this year with the goal of keeping all students in school.
Mr. Rebello says with the loosening of COVID restrictions he is hopeful the school will be able to fully re-build its cooperative education program, connecting students with real-life work experiences.
