Atlantis Charter School will open on September 8 with most students learning remotely with only a few specialized students returning to the classroom.
Executive Director Robert Beatty says there were many factors in coming up with their re-opening decision.
Mr. Beatty says the shutdown in March allowed for the school to get students ready for a remote learning experience.
Even with the remote learning start, Mr. Beatty says the school in the far south end of the city is ready for more students to return in person when the time comes.
