A 74 year old Fall River woman has been identified as the victim of a fatal fire that started after 3:00 a.m. Sunday. The Bristol County District Attorney’s office has indentified Lillian Cordeiro of 47 Orswell Street as the person who lost her life in the fire that is not considered to be caused by foul play.

Fire department officials report a “hoarding issue” made search and rescue at the home difficult. An initial investigation determined that power cords used as a primary power source and wrapped around a banister were the cause of the blaze.
