Even during this time where many of us are at home and practicing social distancing in reaction to COVID-19, the US Census Bureau is still asking people to take the time and be counted.
Census Bureau regional director Jeff Behler says the push is on to get as many people counted as possible. An accurate census will determine how our Congressional and State Legislative districts will be re-drawn as well how much federal money will be available to Massachusetts and Fall River.
Behler says the easiest way to provide input to the census is online, however, there are other ways people can take part.
Behler says those who do not take part in the census either online or through the mail will likely be visited by in-person census takers later this summer.
